It has been months and months ago now that I first started thinking about what it would be like to own my own business. I dreamt about what I would want to do, who I would want to help, all those fun thoughts. Well, it seemed like the first thing that popped in my head was that I knew I wanted to help the local church, small to mid-sized churches, and church plants to be exact.
A lot has changed for me and my family since then. We left our positions in an awesome ministry, moved to the mountains, and launched a business. Our business model has already begun morphing since those early stages of dreaming, but one thing still remains; a strong desire to help the local church.
With all that said, this post is to announce the first of hopefully many resources to equip the Church. Sort of, a dream beginning to come to realization, if you will.
I love storytelling through video, and to do it in church, what could be greater? We get to share the message of Christ's love to our audience, and because of that, be a part of their story. It's amazing!
There is always room for us to improve, me too! I'm always learning, I love it! Whether it's reading books, watching tutorials or listening to others, I try to soak up as much as I can.
And now, I want to give back. This is a short workshop I gave, under 30 minutes to be exact, where I share 10 Simple Steps to Telling Better Stories through video in your church. They're simple, mind you, but if followed, can make a big difference in the way you reach your audience.
